Smoother, lighter, tastier - meet our upgraded recipe

Hey cult family,

Ya'll probably know by now that I am a yogurt and ingredient perfectionist, but maybe you don't know that behind the scenes I have been experimenting for years trying to make our amazing yogurt even better. I am excited to announce that after hundreds of trials, I have finally improved our yogurt recipe.

I hope that you know me well enough by now to know that I would never use any weird ingredients that aren't Noah approved. I am a natural and organic food purist. I eat my yogurt every single day and it is still actively healing my gut with each bite, so I refuse to compromise my ridiculously high food standards, especially within my own product. I will only ever make real, natural food. I will never use gums, fillers, emulsifiers, unhealthy oils, natural/artificial flavors or anything I don't consider to be best of the best in class. My team and I have worked hard over the years to continuously improve our yogurt recipe using only real, whole food, organic ingredients that come from the best possible sources. That's the standard of my yogurt. Period.

Now onto the 2 yogurt improvements!

Improvement #1 is that I have started to add a tiny bit of organic freeze dried banana to my yogurt fruit flavors like Harvest Strawberry. You've probably noticed that over the years some jars have a bit of separation in them — coconut water at the bottom and the cream on the top. This just isn't ideal. After much trial and error, we realized that adding a little banana to certain flavors acts as a natural "thickener", so instead of using things like guar gum (no thank you) to create texture consistency, we opted for the natural way — using organic food. In the majority of these fruit flavors, you cannot even taste the banana. If anything, it gives it a bit more of a mild sweetness, but not much. Bonus points is that banana is a natural prebiotic, just like coconut! So now, the yogurt flavors with banana in them have even more prebiotics than before. Prebiotics are food for probiotics, which keeps them alive and thriving in not only the jar, but in your digestive tract too. You can expect the yogurt texture to still be very thick, but lighter on the tummy, and very smooth. The Original yogurt and Chocolate Mousse recipes will not have organic freeze dried banana added to them.

Improvement #2 is my favorite one because you'll now be able to eat more yogurt! We have increased our serving size from 1 ounce to 2 ounces while keeping the probiotic count exactly the same per jar. This has been my biggest request over the years and I'm happy to say that we've finally perfected the recipe without sacrificing any of the medicinal properties or CFUs per jar — still the original quantities of all of our 16 super-live strains packed into each jar. Our goal was to decrease the calorie and fat content in each jar so that you can eat more probiotics, if needed, without immediately feeling full. We did this by experimenting with different ratios in order to find the perfect texture and flavor profile. All of the yogurt flavors are still super thick, creamy and 'whippy', with loads of healthy fats, but a little easier and lighter on the digestive system. Another win!

Thanks so much for all of your feedback and requests over the years. This feedback is why we continue to make improvements to our yogurt without ever sacrificing the quality. And more importantly, thanks for being a part of the cult, we couldn’t do it without your support.

Peace, love and coconuts,

Noah
