Probiotic Guacamole!

Probiotic Guacamole!

Probiotic guacamole for a Thanksgiving appetizer? Yes please! Recipe below.

Want to fire up your digestion and stabilize your blood sugar before indulging in your Thanksgiving feast? Enjoy a few tablespoons of Coconut Cult yogurt on its own, or add it to your favorite recipe. Original is usually the best flavor for recipes and can be used in place of most raw (uncooked) recipes that call for Greek yogurt.

We've used our Original yogurt to top our tacos, chili, buffalo dip, mushroom stroganoff and more. Original yogurt also makes a fantastic salad dressing with a bit of extra virgin olive oil, dill and a squeeze of lemon. Maybe we'll share that recipe next! Original yogurt is really the Jack of all trades.

Probiotic guacamole recipe:
  1. 4 large avocados

  2. 1/2 cup Original coconut yogurt

  3. juice of 2 limes

  4. 2 small Roma tomatoes, diced

  5. 1/2 small red onion, diced

  6. 2 garlic cloves, minced

  7. 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

  8. 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

  9. 1 pinch of ground cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions:
  1. Prepare tomatoes, onion, garlic and cilantro. Set aside.

  2. Mash avocados in a medium sized bowl (I like to leave mine a bit chunky!), add the yogurt and lime juice. Mix.

  3. Add all spices and prepped vegetables. Mix.

  4. Put the probiotic guacamole into your serving dish and serve with high quality tortilla chips. We like Siete sea salt + grain free or MASA chips.
