How to Make No-Bake Campfire S'mores Cheesecake Cups
Step 1: Make the Crust
Mix the crushed graham crackers, melted coconut oil, and sea salt until the mixture resembles wet sand.
Divide evenly into small jars, ramekins, or dessert cups and press firmly into the bottom.
Freeze for about 10 minutes while preparing the filling.
Step 2: Add the Cheesecake Layer
Spoon the Campfire S'mores yogurt directly over the chilled crust.
For an even thicker cheesecake consistency, gently fold in a few tablespoons of chilled coconut cream before assembling.
Smooth the tops with the back of a spoon.
Step 3: Chill
Refrigerate for at least one hour.
This allows the crust to firm up and the flavors to come together beautifully.
Step 4: Toast the Marshmallows
Top each cup with mini marshmallows.
Toast the marshmallows separately using a kitchen torch or under the broiler, then place them on top of the chilled cheesecake cups just before serving. This helps keep the yogurt cold while still giving you that classic toasted s'mores flavor.
Finish with chocolate shavings, graham cracker crumbs, or cacao nibs if desired.
Serve immediately and enjoy.
Why This Recipe Is No-Bake
One of the things that makes Coconut Cult unique is that every jar contains billions of live probiotic cultures.
Because probiotics are sensitive to heat, we designed this recipe to stay completely no-bake. Keeping the yogurt cold helps preserve the live cultures while still delivering all of the rich, chocolatey Campfire S'mores flavor.
The only part that gets toasted is the marshmallow topping, while the yogurt stays cool underneath.
That means you get a delicious dessert while still enjoying the live probiotics that make Coconut Cult special.
Tips for the Best Cheesecake Cups
-
Keep the yogurt refrigerated until you're ready to assemble.
-
Chill the cheesecake cups before serving for the best texture.
-
Toast the marshmallows just before serving.
-
Don't heat or bake the yogurt itself if you're looking to preserve the live probiotic cultures.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I bake Coconut Cult yogurt?
You can, but baking will reduce or eliminate the live probiotic cultures due to the high heat. That's why we recommend using Coconut Cult in no-bake recipes whenever possible.
Can I make these ahead of time?
Yes! Assemble the cheesecake cups up to 24 hours in advance and keep them refrigerated. Toast the marshmallows just before serving for the best texture.
Can I use another Coconut Cult flavor?
Absolutely. While Campfire S'mores creates the classic s'mores flavor, this recipe is also delicious with Chocolate Mousse, Strawberry Harvest, or Original if you'd like to create your own twist.
Do I need a kitchen torch?
No. A broiler works just as well, just watch the marshmallows closely, as they brown very quickly.
